Brunei Darussalam located on the Northwestern shores of the island of Borneo, between longitudes 114’04” and 114’23” East and latitudes 4’00” and 5’05” North. Brunei bounded on all sides by the Malaysian state of Sarawak, except in the North for a 161 km long coastline with the South China Sea.
Brunei has an equatorial climate, a uniform temperature, high humidity and heavy rainfall. Brunei has a total land area a 5,765 sq km and Brunei contain four main districts there are Brunei Muara, Tutong, Belait and Temburong. Capital city Brunei is Bandar Seri Begawan situated in the Brunei Muara district.
Brunei is one of only two sovereign sultanates in the world the other being the sultanate of Oman in the Gulf.
